Steven C. Schepis graduated St. John’s College, Queens N.Y. in January 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, and further, graduated St. John’s University School of Law, Queens, New York, in June 1988, receiving his Juris Doctor Degree.
Following Law school graduation, Steven commenced service as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County New York where he served as an Assistant District Attorney from August 1988 through January 1993 prosecuting cases ranging from serious motor vehicle violations to homicide.

Since January 1993 to the present, Steven has engaged in the private practice of Law primarily in the State of New Jersey.  Steven remains licensed both in New York and New Jersey.

Although engaged in the General Practice of Law, including Wills, Estates, Trusts, Corporate Matters, Real Estate Purchases and Sales, Contracts, the vast majority of the Practice involves Municipal Land Use. Steven represents clients before Zoning Boards of Adjustment, and Planning Boards throughout Northern New Jersey.
Steven is married to his wife, Susan for more than twenty-five years, and is the father of two young men, Michael and Daniel Schepis. Steven is a licensed private pilot having earned a private pilot’s license in 1987. He volunteers his services as a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, flying aviation maritime patrols on behalf of the United States Coast Guard. Presently Steven also serves as Flotilla Commander of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-01 Air Station Lincoln Park.
